End-to-End UX/UI and Graphics Overhaul

Formula 1® is the world’s most prestigious international motorsport championship, featuring open-wheel, single-seater racing cars competing in a global series of Grands Prix. Regarded as the pinnacle of motorsport, F1 combines cutting-edge engineering, elite competition, and powerful global branding, with massive fan engagement across digital platforms, live events, and media coverage. The commercial rights and global promotion of the FIA Formula One World Championship are managed by the Formula One Group.

Project Purpose:

  • Enhance the digital experience for Formula 1 fans through a modern, engaging, and visually striking website.
  • Create high-quality graphic assets and UX/UI layouts that match the speed, energy, and thrill of Formula 1.
  • Build an intuitive and exciting Fantasy Gaming Platform to increase fan engagement and digital participation.
  • Strengthen brand identity with cohesive design, consistent visuals, and improved user journeys

Project Scope

  • UX research and design for key navigation and content flows focused on fan journeys (e.g., schedule, teams, results, news).
  • Development of intuitive UI components to support rich media, race data, and interactive experiences.
  • Creation of visual graphics and featured car models used throughout the site and content modules.
  • Collaboration with development teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs and assets.

Key Deliverables

  • Complete UX/UI design system for Formula 1’s website — including wireframes, high-fidelity
    mockups, and prototypes.
  • Custom-designed visual elements:
    • F1 vehicles
    • Track illustrations
    • Dashboard widgets
    • Racing-themed icons & graphics
  • User interface & flows for the Fantasy F1 Gaming site (team creation, scoring, leaderboard,
    challenges).
  • Optimized responsive layouts for all screens/devices.
